Personality

Golem is the closest the rock crew has to a gentle giant. He loves children of all kinds and finds humans adorable, since they're so small and soft. He's tried to have pets in the past, but he stopped after accidentally crushing a puppy, something that he's never gotten over. Even Golem's pet rocks were subject to being crushed, to his dismay. He's the peacekeeping type, preferring to try to work out arguments or agree with others to avoid conflict. However, Golem does get fed up on occasion and then he's scary. Thanks to his fighting and ground type moves, Golem's actually more than able to beat any other rock crew member in a fight, as he has proven on several occasions. He's too modest and peaceful to admit it, though. Golem often accidentally upsets people, since he is rather loud and talks in the third person, tendencies that seem to rub people on the internet the wrong way. Years of rolling down mountainsides has shaped the way Golem thinks and talks, causing him to ramble on for much longer than he should, often changing topic several times in one paragraph and sometimes even in the same sentence. This makes using twitter a constant struggle for the boulder. Golem fears water type pokemon and grass type pokemon, though he has some friends of those types, such as CORSOLA. His greatest fear is Ludicolo.

Hobbies and Activities

Golem likes rolling down mountainsides. He enjoys it so much that he'll spend the better part of a day rolling down mountainsides (and up mountainsides, but that's more difficult), calling that his job. It actually does manage to get him a decent amount of money, seeing as how his amulet coin activates whenever he accidentally rolls over some poor sap. He also enjoys video games - specifically sonic games, since the chao were sort of like pets he couldn't crush. He's also gotten into anime. He originally started watching anime to try to better understand the humans he spoke to on the internet but eventually became engrossed in them and somewhat pretentious about them.

Rock Crew Membership

Golem's a founding member of the Rock Crew, alongside his friend, the crew's leader AGGRON. Many of his friends are in the rock crew, but unlike some members, he has made a conscious effort to befriend pokemon outside of the crew as well.

History

Golem was a Rock Crew member back when he was a lowly graveler, but he finally evolved when Rhyperior and Tyranitar decided to play catch using him as the ball, much to Graveler's chagrin. It ended up counting as a trade, and Graveler was Golem ever since. Golem proposed to his wife by spelling out "Marry Me?" in Golem on a mountainside.
