The International Pokémon League is an organization that exists outside the regular leagues. It is designed as a higher-tier league, where Trainers can battle after reaching the top of their region's Leagues. The League itself does not have a linear tiering system, preferring to rank Trainers instead.

The League is located in Challenger Island, an island in the tropics located far, far west of Johto. Its wildlife is a mix from Johto and Hoenn.
